  • Can I watch EPIX on my device?
    Currently EPIX is available:

    •    As an app for the PS3
    •    As an app for the Xbox 360
    •    As an app for your iOS device
    •    The Channel Store on your Roku
    •    As a app for your Google TV
    •    An app for your Kindle Fire
    •    An app for your Android 2.1 or later device

    To watch EPIX movies on your mobile device you must subscribe to EPIX from your TV provider or have a Free Trial account. EPIX is currently available for devices on Charter, DISH Network, EPB Fiber Optics, Mediacom, Suddenlink, and Verizon FiOS.

    If you do not subscribe to EPIX, you can get a Free Trial of EpixHD.com here. You will be able to watch EpixHD.com movies on your app with a Free Trial.

    Please note: Cox Communications supports EPIX on some Android and iOS devices but Cox does not currently support EPIX on Xbox 360, Google TV, or Roku.
  • How do I watch on my PS3?
    To get the EPIX app, go to the PlayStation Store on your PS3 and find EPIX in the Media/Apps Category. You can also find it available in the My Channels section under the TV/Video Services column on the XMB (Cross Media Bar).

    1) Select the movie you want to watch by highlighting the movie image and pressing "X." Navigate down and activate the "Start Movie" button. The first time you do this, you will be prompted for a 6-digit code.
    2) Go here (http://www.epixhd.com/watchnow-ps3) to get that code. Select your provider and Sign In with your credentials, or if you don't subscribe to EPIX yet, select the 14 Day Free Trial (or go here to sign up for your Free Trial: http://www.epixhd.com/freetrial-ps3/).
    3) Once you've successfully signed in, you will see the Devices tab on your Me page. Select PS3 and your 6-digit code will appear.
    4) Enter your new 6-digit code on your PS3 and start watching movies. Please note: you must use your device code within one hour or you will need to get a new one.

    Please note: Cox Communications does not currently support EPIX on the PS3.
  • Why is the app all blurry on my PS3?
    It sounds like your PlayStation 3 is outputting a resolution that does not meet the minimum requirements for the EPIX App. The EPIX App requires a minimum picture quality of 720p. 

    To change your video output settings please follow these instructions:

    1) Press the "Playstation" button in the middle of the controller.
    2) Go to "System Settings" on the menu displayed.
    3) Select "Display Settings"
    4) Click "Video Output Settings"
    5) Once here find your type of output (HDMI, etc.) and select it.
    6) Choose "Custom"
    7) Once there you can choose the type of output, simply select "720p" or any of the higher settings and accept the changes. 
    8) You will then need to push your right D-pad button and finalize your new output settings.
  • How do I watch EPIX on my Xbox 360?
    If you have subscribed to Xbox LIVE Gold, you can download the EPIX app on your Xbox 360 console. You can get the EPIX app from the Apps twist.

    1) Select the movie you want to watch by highlighting the movie image and pressing "A" (Play). The first time you do this, you will be prompted for a 6-digit code.
    2) Go here (http://www.epixhd.com/watchnow/) to get that code. Select your provider and Sign In with your credentials, or if you don't subscribe to EPIX yet, select the 14 Day Free Trial (or go here to sign up for your Free Trial: http://www.epixhd.com/freetrial-devices/).
    3) Once you've successfully signed in, you will see the Devices tab on your Me page. Select Xbox 360 and your 6-digit code will appear.
    4) Enter your new 6-digit code on your Xbox 360 and start watching movies. Please note: you must use your device code within one hour or you will need to get a new one.

    Please note: Cox Communications does not currently support EPIX on the Xbox 360.
  • How do I start the movie on my Xbox 360?
    To play a movie on the Xbox 360 you simply have to select the movie poster image and press "A" (Play) on your controller. If you have a Kinect, you can simply say "Xbox" to bring up the audio command menu. Then to play the movie say "Xbox play (insert movie title)" and you're good to go. Additionally, with a Kinect, you can hold your hand over the movie image to start it.
  • How do I watch EPIX on my iOS Device?
    If you subscribe to EPIX from your TV Provider, or you have a 14-day Free Trial to EpixHD.com, you can access movies using the EPIX app for iOS.

    1) Download the EPIX app from the App Store and install the app on your iOS device.
    2) Launch the EPIX app and select what you would like to watch. Touch "Watch Now."
    3) Select your TV provider (or "EPIX" if you have a Free Trial account) and log in with your provider credentials.
    4) Enjoy EPIX!
  • Which Android devices can I watch EPIX on?
    The EPIX Android app should work on any device that's running Android 2.1 and up. However, this page lists the devices we've successfully tested the EPIX app on.
  • How do I watch movies on my EPIX app?

  • How do I get my device code?

  • How do I watch movies on my Roku?
    1) Add the EPIX Channel from the Channel Store on your Roku.
    2) Launch the EPIX Channel and find a movie you want to watch. Select "Watch now."
    3) The Roku will generate a 6-digit code for you. Go to http://www.epixhd.com/watch-roku/ and sign in to your EpixHD.com account on your computer (You must have an account on EpixHD.com to watch movies on the Roku app. If you don't have one, get a Free Trial account).
    4) Enter the 6-digit code from the Roku box into the field provided on http://www.epixhd.com/watch-roku/. The screen on your Roku box automatically updates and your movie will begin.

    *If you do not subscribe to EPIX through your TV provider, you may only watch movies on EPIX for Roku during a 14-day free trial.  You will be notified via email as additional subscription options become available.

    Please note: Cox Communications does not currently support EPIX on Roku.
  • Do I have to enter a 6-digit code every time I want to watch movies?
    Certainly not. Once you add a device to your account, it stays there until you remove it. You can have up to 5 devices registered to your account.
  • What do I do if the EPIX app asks me to enter the 6-digit code again?
    Just head over to EpixHD.com and, once you log in, you can get a new device code. Enter it on your device and you should be all set to watch movies.

    Please note: You can avoid having to re-authorize your device(s) by logging in to your EpixHD.com account at least once every 30 days to validate your account.
  • How many devices can I have on my EpixHD.com account?
    You can have up to 5 devices registered to your account.

  • How do I manage my devices?
    You can add, remove and even rename your devices on your Me page and selecting the Devices tab.
  • How do I subscribe to EPIX?
    If you do not subscribe to EPIX from your TV provider, you may only watch movies on the EPIX app for your device for the 14-day free trial.

    For full access to EPIX on your device, you must subscribe to the channel through your television provider.  As of right now, EPIX is available for devices on Charter, DISH Network, EPB Fiber Optics, Mediacom, Suddenlink & Verizon FiOS.
